Timothée Botbol is an award-winning cellist, multi-instrumentalist and producer who graduated from Royal College of Music and enjoys an international performing career. In between his numerous classical activities, he has appeared as guest solo cello and rhythm guitar on WAITRESS the Musical and performed on soundtracks that have featured on Netflix, BBC and Radio Télévision Suisse. He has performed as soloist in venues and festivals such as Royal Albert Hall, St John’s Smith Square and St Magnus Festival, and collaborated with ensembles including London Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, as well as regularly appearing as guest principal cello with Welsh National Opera Orchestra.
Today, Timothée Botbol enjoys a varied career performing with leading orchestras, on musical theatre stages and in studio sessions with screen composers and indie artists whilst writing and producing original music under the project name Callipolis.
