Christine returns with other friends, in piano quartet formation - our first for many years. Classic Mozart is followed by Mahler's intimate one movement composition ....his sole surviving piece of instrumental chamber music. After the interval we hear Brahms' lyrical A major quartet. Influenced by Schubert, it is Brahms' longest chamber work."
